The scene begins in front of the Prince's magnificent castle. A beam of light appears on the stage and slowly moves, traversing the entire stage. As it rises from below, it emits a magical energy. Suddenly, an explosion occurs, and light pours onto the stage like a magical shower of glitter, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Immediately following this magical moment, we watch the castle's majestic rise using projection mapping technology. Trees rising from the sides sway realistically in the wind, bringing the stage to life. At the same time, wind effects in the hall allow the audience to feel as if they are immersed in nature. Right next to the castle, a shimmering lake appears—the legendary lake where the Prince will meet Odette. Swans gracefully glide across the water using hologram technology. The lake moves like a real stream, reflections shimmer, and the waves of the water take shape before the audience's eyes. Dancers emerge onto the stage one by one, and the performance begins. Finally, the Prince appears. At that moment, a swan is seen flying towards the castle from the sky. This swan is not just a swan; it represents Odette's spirit and destiny.

The palace appears through the trees, and the dance takes place in front of it. A lake runs alongside the palace, and swans swim on it. This is the stage setting. Ballerinas dance all around, and the prince is presented to the audience in the center of the stage, holding a goblet. All the dancers around him also hold a goblet. When the prince raises the goblet, a beam of light shines from it onto the audience.

The dance between the prince and the king continues for a while in the same tone, then the lights are directed to the back corner of the stage and turn yellow. At that moment, the queen enters the stage shrouded in mist. The mist follows her intensely until she reaches the center of the stage, making it difficult to discern who has arrived. Once the queen is visible, she walks to both sides, bowing, with the yellow light constantly following her.

After the prince and dancers bid farewell to the queen, they continue dancing, first the dancers, then the prince, and finally everyone dancing together, maintaining the same rhythm until the end of the scene. Throughout the dance, the lake continues to flow and swans continue to pass by. The light rises above the dancer in the foreground; the light color is usually white, only the prince's light is shown in light blue.

At the end of the scene, all the dancers leave except for the prince, the king, and the character resembling the joker. The prince then leads them off the stage one by one with dance moves, leaving him alone. As the prince lowers his hands from top to bottom according to the dance moves, the trees, castle, and other objects rising in the scene descend, revealing only the lake and the swans swimming (this serves as a binding for the next scene). The scene slowly darkens, and the first act ends.

Scene 2: Lakeside

The magician mysteriously enters the stage amidst black mists and begins to dance. Black swans accompany him on stage. Each movement of the swans is shaped by the magician's graceful arm movements. As the magician moves across the stage, dark spots appear wherever he steps.

The scene begins with mist and water ripple effects. Swans glide across the lake as holograms. After a while, a larger swan appears and transforms into Odette. This transformation is depicted using projection mapping technology.
Odette's dress is designed with LED and fiber optic details. At the moment of transformation, her tutu, initially drooping downwards, slowly rises, transforming into an elegant ballerina costume.
In the background, a three-dimensional moon appears on the lake, projected onto a thin, fly-mesh-like material using projection mapping. As Odette enters the scene, the flowers around the lake, initially closed, slowly begin to open. Simultaneously, the atmosphere of the scene changes, taking on pink hues, and mist spreads across the ground.
Finally, lights resembling fireflies envelop the scene, and small beams of light moving around add a magical atmosphere. As the Prince and Odette draw closer, the entire scene takes on a romantic and fairytale atmosphere.

As Odette and the Prince dance on stage, the Sorcerer suddenly approaches them. At that moment, the lights that had been floating on the stage, resembling fireflies, suddenly fall to the ground and transform into black lights. These black lights begin to revolve around the Sorcerer, as if controlled by his magic.

KUĞU GÖLÜ BALESİ KONSEPT TASARIMI (8).png

The Sorcerer leads the Prince away from the stage. As the Prince leaves, the atmosphere suddenly darkens, the flowers on stage wither, and the magical and dark ambiance intensifies. In this dim atmosphere, Odette and the Sorcerer perform a short dance scene. At the end of the scene, the Sorcerer extends his arms towards Odette, performing a dance move. This move symbolizes Odette's departure from the stage.

Odette's exit from the stage is a visual transformation. She enters the stage transforming from a swan into a human form, and she leaves the stage with the same transformation. As she exits, thanks to technological means, her ballerina costume slowly unwinds, and she transforms back into a swan before leaving the stage.

The stage falls silent for a while. Then, one by one, the ballerinas begin to enter the stage, and with each step, a white light descends upon them from above. The light seems to know them beforehand, following their bodies as they dance. With each movement, the lights find their rhythm; in their turns, leaps, and gliding steps, the lights never leave them. The scene unfolds as an elegant interplay of dance and light.

Following the ballerinas, the prince enters the stage. He is searching for Odette. As the prince enters, the atmosphere darkens slightly. His steps create a mysterious ambiance. As the prince moves forward, the lights focus on certain corners—as if Odette were hiding in those shadowy spots. Occasionally, these beams of light also reach the audience. Thus, not only the stage but also the audience becomes part of this magical search.

For a long time, ballerinas dance, and during their dance, the entire stage is covered in water reflections. The water leaves traces according to the ballerinas' movements. Meanwhile, clouds are reflected in the upper part of the stage.

As the dancers continue to dance, Odette and the Prince reunite on stage. They continue their dance for a while longer, during which time the lights remain fixed on Odette and the Prince. The setting is the same as the other scenes, but the surroundings are rendered using mapping technology, making it appear as if the dance is taking place on water. The water moves with the dancers' movements. A breeze is directed towards the audience in rhythm with the music.

At the end of the scene, Odette and the Prince are forced to separate. The ambient light dims at the beginning of this scene, and the clouds darken. Odette and the Prince move apart to opposite ends of the stage, and a lightning bolt strikes the stage from above, completely darkening the scene and ending.

First, the stage setup begins with gooseneck curtains lowered across three walls, creating the illusion of three-dimensional Russian paintings hanging on the walls. Simultaneously, antique Russian carpets are projected onto the floor. A smaller curtain is lowered in front of the gooseneck curtain, displaying the throne where the king and queen will sit, with a large mirror rising directly above it. The paintings rise from the floor upwards, while the throne is projected from above, completing the stage appearance. Flame machines placed at the front of the stage project fire upwards, and ballerinas enter the stage from the sides.

Scene 3: Inside the Palace

42.png

The queen and prince enter through the mist. A yellow light is shone upon them.

44.png

When it's time for the prince to choose his candidates, the ballerinas dance. The prince rises from his seat and dances with each ballerina individually. During the dance, the light only shines on the area where he is dancing with a girl.

46.png

After the prince finishes dancing with the other girls, the queen approaches him. Suddenly, from amidst the black mist, the sorcerer and Odile enter the stage. The scene darkens instantly, lights begin to flash on Odile's dress, and a wind, creating chaos, is unleashed from different directions on the stage to signal the arrival of a disturbing force. Odile walks towards the prince and bows. Mistaking her for Odette, the prince immediately approaches her. As Odile exits the stage, the prince follows her, and they both disappear. Meanwhile, the sorcerer goes and sits beside the queen.

The dancers dance in the middle for a while.

As Odile and the Prince dance, Odette is lowered onto the stage, trapped inside a red neon cube. This scene could be realized with a physical, actual descent, or it could be shown as a hologram of Odette, 3D scanned and projected along with the cube. In the background, a lavish ballroom adds depth to the scene. At the moment this scene takes place, the environment suddenly darkens. A white light, emphasizing Odette's innocence, falls upon her, while a red light emanating from the cube shines upon Odile and the Prince. This red light symbolizes revenge and makes the silhouettes of Odile and the Prince appear fainter compared to Odette.

KUĞU GÖLÜ BALESİ KONSEPT TASARIMI (2).png

After Odile and the Prince dance for a while, the queen and the sorceress enter the stage. It is confirmed that Odile and the prince will marry. As the prince gives Odile the bouquet, Odette reappears in a red cube in the background. Seeing Odette, the Prince is confused and panicked. At that moment, lightning strikes, black mists surround them, and the mirror on the throne, because it is on a goose curtain, appears to fall down. As the mirror hits the floor, it seems to scatter across the ground. Everyone on stage starts running around, the prince leaves the stage, the stage slowly darkens, the queen comes to the front, only the light remains on the queen, she sadly bows her head, and the scene closes completely.

Before the stage lights come on, there is the sound of waves. The 4th act of the dance takes place again by the lake. As the lights come on, the lake, which seems to be one with the ground, slowly begins to flow. We see glitter falling from the ceiling. The wind blows towards the audience along with the lake, and the dancers appear in the center of the stage. The dancers begin to dance as the glitter touches the ground.

As the ballerinas begin their dance, dancers in black ballerina costumes emerge from backstage, and their arrival is punctuated by a small amount of red mist, hinting at the buds of betrayal. The ballerinas continue their dance for a while. Then, ballerinas in white stand straight in the center of the stage, and the ballerinas in black costumes pass between them in an S shape. As they pass, black shimmering footprints are visible on the floor, and a light shines directly from above the black ballerinas. The light cuts off after passing between the other ballerinas.

The scene where Odette dances alone after learning of the betrayal.

The scene where Odette dances with the dancers after emerging from the whirlpool.

After Odette and the dancers dance for a while, the sorcerer joins them. With the sorcerer's arrival, the dancers move to the sides and wait there. The sorcerer takes Odette by the waist and spins her around, creating a circle of black and red colors around them. This circle is projected onto the stage as a tangible representation of the spell. Then the sorcerer lowers Odette to the ground; Odette falls to her knees, and the dancers circle around her. At that moment, the sorcerer exits the stage.

Scene 4: Lakeside

Odette enters the stage alone, majestically, as if emerging from a whirlpool in the lake. Before Odette's arrival, holographic swans glide across the water. But with Odette's arrival, the swans suddenly flee in panic. At this moment, projection mapping is used to create the illusion that the entire stage is underwater. As Odette rises from the whirlpool, shimmering water drips from her dress, adding a magical air to her dance. The music, supported by the sounds of wind and waves, enhances the atmosphere of the stage. To further immerse the audience in this magical world, light water droplets are sprayed from the stage towards the audience, creating a humid atmosphere. Thus, the audience becomes almost a part of the scene and is swept away by the flow of the performance.

After learning of the betrayal, Odette emerges from the turmoil and comes to the lake. The pure white full moon, previously symbolizing the purity of love, has now turned blood red with the pain of the betrayal. This dramatic change is projected onto the stage with an impressive 3D moon image created using projection mapping on a goose screen. The atmosphere of the stage also transforms along with Odette's inner world. First, the bluish atmosphere, reminiscent of the underwater world, is shrouded in darkness; as the lights slowly fade, the stage takes on a somber and empty feel. Then, as Odette begins to dance, red mists rising from within the stage spread around, like a tangible reflection of the anger and pain born from the betrayal. Faint flashes of red light shimmer within the mist, adding vibrancy to the stage and visualizing the emotional storm within Odette.

63.png

As the sorcerer leaves, all the dancers kneel around Odette, the circle that had formed when the sorcerer arrived still circling her. At that moment, the Prince enters the stage and, after circling it, touches the dancers kneeling around Odette. One by one, they awaken at his touch. Finally, the Prince takes Odette's hand and lifts her up, and the dancers slowly begin to move aside. Then, the Prince and Odette continue to dance for a while in the middle of the dancers who had moved to the side.

65.png
67.png

As the prince and Odette dance, dancers in black enter from the edge of the stage, circle the center, and exit. A sorcerer follows them onto the stage. The stage lights dim slightly. Waves appear on the lake as the sorcerer enters. The sorcerer separates Odette and the prince. Finally, the sorcerer lifts Odette and spins her around in the air, causing her to collapse to the ground. The prince rushes to her side. As the sorcerer continues dancing, the prince runs towards her and tears off her wing. At this moment, a scream rises from behind the music. The sorcerer falls to the ground and thrashes about. The dancers begin to circle around him. The sorcerer stops struggling, and the prince suddenly throws his wing to the ground. All the dancers throw themselves to the ground, the music stops, and as the stage is covered in water, waves crash against the stage from its center.

After the waves crash against the stage, there is a brief silence. During this silence, we see the beam of light again, the same one we saw at the beginning of the dance. As the beam of light swirls around, the Prince slowly approaches Odette and lifts her up. Odette stands up and walks towards the dancers, and the Prince follows her to the other end of the stage. Odette and the Prince begin to walk towards each other, and as they meet, the beam of light stops between them. The Prince and Odette clasp their hands, the Prince holds Odette against his chest, and they place their hands on Odette's heart. The beam of light seems to enter Odette's heart along with their hands. As they unite, the waters calm, and a refreshing breeze fills the air. The stage lights begin to dim one by one from the edges, and finally, the beam of light on Odette's heart fades away. The Prince and Odette are reunited, and the dance ends.
